Mini Grants

KWN Mini-Grants

Kenosha Women’s Network annually awards mini-grants to local, not for profit organizations. The amount available for the awards depends on the amount of money raised at our annual Holiday Raffle. Greater consideration will be given to those applicants/organizations who participate in helping raise the funds.

Any Kenosha County not for profit agency/club/organization whose primary focus is to help women and/or children from Kenosha County. These groups cannot be affiliated with any religious or political group or church. Grants are not available for capital funding. If you have a question about your group we encourage you to apply and to provide an explanation at the end of the questionnaire.

Any member of Kenosha Women’s Network is eligible to apply on behalf of one organization to which that member belongs or that is of special interest to the currently paid member. Only one grant submission per year per member is accepted.

2019 Mini Grants were awarded on July 12.

Susan B. Anthony

Susan B. Anthony - Women of Influence Awards Dinner

The SBA-WOI Award Committee is offering a scholarship opportunity for a Kenosha County woman who has obtained, at a minimum, an associate degree and is seeking to pursue higher education. In the spirit of Susan B. Anthony, the intent of this scholarship is to support a non-traditional aged (adult) female student who will learn, grow, advance, and succeed through further education.

The scholarship is supported by the proceeds from the Susan B. Anthony – Women of Influence Awards Dinner, which is made possible through the efforts of the Kenosha Women’s Network, AAUW (WI) Branch, and Tempo Kenosha, as well as our generous sponsors: the Kenosha
Community Foundation Women’s Fund and the Southeast Wisconsin Labor Times.

This scholarship is based on a percentage of the proceeds from the Susan B. Anthony – Women of Influence Awards Dinner and will be awarded at the annual award dinner on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Madrigrano Marina Shores, Kenosha. Funds will only be dispersed when the recipient provides documentation of registration from the institution of her choice.

To be eligible, the applicant must submit the application form, provide 2 letters of recommendation which address goals, achievements, and potential, and write a personal statement telling why she is deserving of the Susan B. Anthony – Women of Influence scholarship.

Applications must be received no later than the end of business on Friday, December 7, 2018.

Applications may be obtained from:
